Finally Smiling Again with Smile Brilliant

Andrea PhD Fashionista holding SmileBrilliant cariPRO ultrasonic electric toothbrush Hi lovely readers!

It has been a rough couple of months for me, dealing with a lot of personal and mental health issues, so I haven’t been in the best head space to be working on the blog, for which I feel bad about. But, as I have been feeling better and better, I have been working on a couple of posts and some cool things for you guys, so albeit slow, it’s coming.
I can finally say I’m feeling better and am in the upswing of things, and I’m finally smiling again. It helps that I’ve been using a new electric toothbrush to keep my smile pearly and brilliant, from Smile Brilliant (haha – you see what I did there?? XD )

Ok, enough with the cheesy puns, I wanted to share with you my first time experience using an electric toothbrush, and what my thoughts were. Since I moved to Boston, I haven’t found a chance to find a new dentist. When I lived in LA, I was super prompt about getting my teeth cleaned once every 6 months, and I had the most sweetheart of a dentist. I haven’t had much time lately to just sit down and relax, nevermind find a new dental office. But, I have still been trying to take good care of my teeth, and I will hopefully go to a dentist soon!

I’ve been using a regular toothbrush all of these years, and have been switching around with different toothpastes, thinking that it was the toothpaste that would help whiten my teeth – as we are told in all of the whitening advertisements. Well, I was finding my teeth getting yellow because I have been drinking way too much coffee than I would like to admit…. and while I was using the smile brilliant whitening trays, I’ll have to admit I haven’t found the time to use them lately.

Since I’ve been so stressed with work and just dealing with life, I found that I have been eliminating all the extra things, to clear mind space to help me focus on my tasks at hand. So, eliminating worrying about how white my smile is and how clean my teeth are by using an electric toothbrush that has done a way better job than I have been doing brushing my teeth with a regular brush has been a life saver.

I’ve honestly been wanting to buy/try an electric toothbrush for a few months now, but there are a lot of different ones out there, and I just didn’t find the time to do the research on all of the different brands. When I found out that Smile Brilliant  came out with a new Electric Toothbrush, the cariPRO Ultrasonic electric tooth brush, I couldn’t resist trying it!

I started using the electric toothbrush twice a day, once in the morning and once at night before bed, and I will tell you – honestly!! My teeth look WHITER – Without doing any additional teeth whitening treatments. I am not exaggerating. We all hear the dentist tell us you need to brush for at least two minutes, but who actually does? Two minutes standing at the sink feels like an eternity – and I never bring a timer to actually time myself brushing with a regular brush. Maybe that was why I wasn’t seeing good teeth cleaning with my regular brush. I was finding that there was still food left in my teeth sometimes! Once I started using the cariPRO Ultrasonic Electric Toothbrush, I found my teeth felt cleaner and no residual food was left in my teeth! What is cool about this electric toothbrush, is it works in 30 second bursts for the different quadrants of your mouth, and pauses so you know when to shift to the next one. I kept finding myself wanting to move on to the next quadrant faster than the  brush, but I had to just wait, and then move on. Two minutes ended up flying by – and my teeth felt so much better and clean, as if I had just gotten a cleaning from the dentist!

Something also cool, is that the cariPRO also has 5 different brush modes, clean, white, massage, gum care, and sensitive, which was fun trying all the different ones to find my favorite ones. I liked clean and white the best – and it just makes the brush head vibrate slightly differently to get a different cleaning mode!

Some other fun facts about the brush – each charge lasts about 30 days!!! I have yet to charge my brush after taking it out of the box, and the brush is waterproof, so you can use it in the shower, if that’s your thing. I found comfort in not worrying about getting the base wet for fear of getting electrocuted! LOL!!

The brush heads are also replaceable, and each kit comes with 2 brush heads, that you should change at the same frequency as you would with a regular brush. The replacements are pretty reasonable price too from Smile Brilliant .com website.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with my experience so far with the electric toothbrush, and I am a convert now – Not sure I can go back to using my old regular toothbrush (except for when I’m traveling, I guess it will have to do – but I can always carry my charged brush no problem if I’m going on a trip shorter than 30 days – HEYYYYY so cool).
I’m loving how clean and white my teeth look, and I definitely recommend the cariPRO Ultrasonic Electric Toothbrush
